Barcelona is not a dangerous city but in public places you have to take care of your belongings: lugage, bags, cameras, movile phones and wallets. The pickpockets could be there waiting any mistake.
Please pay special atention in the Airport, public transportation, beaches, next to the museums, shopping centers and in the old quarters: Raval, Gothic.
Use your common sense. Enjoy the views of the monuments and from time to time check all your belongings to continue with your visiti to the city.
